The Barnstable County Dredging Department is accepting applications for full time Deckhand position.

The Deckhand will be responsible for maintenance work and labor in the performance of the dredging operation and associated dredging related work. Successful candidates will have a High school education and 2 to 4 years’ experience in a marine environment; marine construction experience desirable. Experience operating heavy equipment and boat handling a plus. Must be able to pass a post offer physical exam. This is a full-time position; hours are highly variable. Applicants must be able to work over 40 hours per week, if needed. Barnstable County Pension Plan and generous benefits packet included.
