Barnstable County Cape Cod Commission Commission is accepting applications for the full time Communications Manager.

Works with directors and senior staff to provide a strategy for effective public engagement, education and communication.  Develops external communications about current Commission activities and initiatives. Develops and maintains website. Organizes and manages public, community and media outreach.  Develops narrative and graphics for Commission communications, presentations and public outreach materials.

Requires superior communication, organization and presentation skills, and independent judgment and initiative. Bachelor’s degree in communications, public/media relations or related field plus five years of experience at the local, regional or state level; master’s degree preferred; combination of private and public sector experience desirable; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
