Additionally, the Cape Cod Commission’s Bicycle Rack Program has been extended into 2022 and is now open with approximately $60,000 in remaining federal funds for this Program.  The Bike Rack Program provides full reimbursement to municipalities and other governmental agencies for the cost of purchasing bicycle racks and associated equipment (i.e. repair stations, shelters), excluding shipping and installation costs.  Installation and shipping costs are borne by the eligible applicants as part of the local match funding mechanism. Equipment must be installed on public property. Cape Cod Commission will accept proposals and allocate funds on a first-come, first-served basis and will be accepting applications until September 30, 2022. All equipment must be installed by the applicant by December 31, 2022.
