Children’s Cove Welcomes Kathy Fayerberg to the Team

Children’s Cove welcomes Kathy Fayerberg, as Family Services Coordinator, to their team!
September 20, 2021 – Kathy joined Children’s Cove last week to serve as the Family Services Coordinator as a part of the victim services team. After receiving a master’s degree in clinical social work from Boston University in 2006, Kathy began working in different therapeutic roles on Cape Cod. Kathy has previously worked providing individual and family therapy at Gosnold’s school-based program, as well as at the Massachusetts Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) family counseling center. As a social worker, Kathy believes a multidisciplinary approach and connecting families to natural and community resources, is what helps children and families thrive.
Kathy will be supporting the mission of Children’s Cove by providing support and information to children and families that are served regarding the investigative and justice process. Kathy will provide psychological first aid and psychoeducation relating to the impact of traumatic experiences. In her role, Kathy will connect children and families with needed resources and supports in the community through referrals and coordination.
