Upcoming Vaccine Clinic: Cape Cod Mall on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

June 7, 2021 – Barnstable, MA | The Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment announced today that they will be hosting a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Cape Cod Mall. Janssen Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be offered to anyone 18+ and Pfizer vaccine will be available to anyone 12+ (parental consent is required for minors).

The location of the vaccine clinic will be adjacent to the Express and across from American Eagle Outfitters.

Assistant Public Health Nurse Theresa Covell said, “We want to provide a convenient walk-up vaccine experience for mall shoppers. We hope to reach people who haven’t yet had the chance to get the vaccine.” Covell said interested participants will have the ability to scan a QR code to their phone, which will provide direct access to clinic registration via Color, the state-run online registration platform. Paper registration will also be available on-site for anyone who prefers it. For those who require a second-dose vaccine appointment, our staff will assist recipients in scheduling those appointments before they leave the clinic.

Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment nursing staff will be onsite, along with an EMT/paramedic detail from the Hyannis Fire Department. Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese speakers will be available to assist anyone who may require translation assistance.

This clinic is organized by Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment. Barnstable County is a member of the Cape Cod COVID-19 Vaccine Consortium, comprised of Cape Cod Healthcare, Barnstable County, Cape Cod Delegation, the towns and community health centers of Cape Cod.
