Season 25 for the Dredge Crew is Underway!

Season 25 for the County Dredge team is well underway. The Sand Shifter began dredging operations this past Monday on Sampsonâs Island/Dead Neck for the Town of Barnstableâs Phase III dredging and nourishment project. Tuesdayâs gale forced the crew to stop operations, but they resumed on Wednesday.Â
Today dredging with the Codfish II began in the Mill Creek Channel (beach nourishment at the Colonial Acres Beach) in Yarmouth. Once complete, the Codfish II will be moving on to Falmouth to begin work on dredging the Falmouth Inner Harbor entrance channel, targeted for the week of October 5th.
