Thank You and Farewell AmeriCorps Cape Cod Year 21 Members

AmeriCorps Cape Cod will be suspended effective May 31st for the remainder of the service year. AmeriCorps Cape Cod remains committed to providing the best and safest service environment for the upcoming program year.

Thank you to all the year 21 AmeriCorps members for their outstanding dedication to service. Over the course of 9 months AmeriCorps Cape Cod members successfully came together to complete meaningful service in the Cape Cod Community. They have improved conservation trails and open space – at times battling greenbrier, poison ivy, and ticks. They have installed symbolic shorebird fencing, propagated shellfish, and raised osprey poles to benefit the wildlife that also calls Cape Cod home. They sought out opportunities to get involved in the community- sharing fellowship over community dinners and volunteering with local organizations outside of ACC programming. They were an amazing corps!

Please note that there will be a celebration of year 21 members’ achievements in a virtual graduation and celebratory event on June 23rd at 11 AM EST. More information about this event will be forthcoming.
