Following is a list of ordinances that have been enacted by Barnstable County since 1989, the first-year session for the Assembly of Delegates, through the current year.

 

Ordinances Enacted in 1989

89 – 1    To establish the dates, times and place of regular meetings of the Assembly of Delegates.  [February 8, 1989]

89 – 2    To establish a revenue loan order.  [February 15, 1989]

Ordinances Enacted in 1990

90 – 1    To authorize the County to pay for the costs of conducting municipal elections relative to State legislation creating the Cape Cod Commission.  [February 14, 1990]

90 – 2    To limit the amount that may be spent from the County’s State Deed’s Excise Fund pursuant to Barnstable County Ordinance 89-10 and to repeal section eight of said ordinance so as to confirm the appropriation of funds for a day-reporting center.  The total amount shall not exceed seven hundred and ninety-six thousand, seven hundred and thirty dollars and ninety-two cents ($796,730.92).  [February 14, 1990]

90 – 3    To make supplemental appropriations for Barnstable County for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety for the purpose of increasing the Health Department budget for $31,053 and Group insurance for $50,000.  [February 28, 1990]

90 – 4    To authorize the County to borrow money to pay for necessary repair and/or replacement of the roofing on the fourth level in the first district courthouse in the town of Barnstable.   [March 14, 1990]

90 – 5    To amend Barnstable County Ordinance 89-8 regarding the submission of annual County operating and capital outlay budgets by the Board of County Commissioners by adding Section 4(a)(b) and Section 5.  [March 14, 1990]

90 – 6    To make supplemental appropriations to the County’s operating budget for Fiscal Year 1990 for purposes of implementing provisions of the Cape Cod Commission Act including operation and maintenance of the Cape Cod Commission.  [April 25, 1990]

90 – 7    To make appropriation to supplement the County’s annual operating budget for Fiscal Year 1990 for purposes to increase the County Commissioners budget for $2,650, Cooperative Extension for $5,880, Barnstable County Hospital for $115,000, the Jail and House of Corrections for $100,000 (funds to be appropriated from the County’s State Deeds-Excise Fund), and for $22,747 for electrical services throughout the County complex.  [June 13, 1990]

90 – 8    To make supplemental appropriations of $1.1 million to the County’s operating budget for Fiscal Year 1990 for the purpose of enabling the County to pay an obligation to return excess reimbursements received from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.  [June 27, 1990]

90 – 9    To amend Barnstable County Ordinance 90-4 authorizing the County to borrow money to pay for necessary repairs in and/or to replace the roofing on the first district courthouse in the Town of Barnstable.  [June 27, 1990]

90 – 10    To make appropriations for Barnstable County’s operating budget for the fiscal year 1991 including the operations of County agencies, boards, commissions, departments and institutions and the maintenance of certain County functions, for interest, reserve funds and serial bond requirements of the County, and for certain County capital improvements; and to establish a revenue loan order including a provision relative to the County tax levy for said fiscal year.  [June 29, 1990]

93 – 1    To add to the County’s operating budget for Fiscal Year 1993, enacted in Ordinance 92-9, by making supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety-three, for the purpose of funding various public safety programs, updating the kitchen at the House of Corrections, replacement of several vehicles, computer updating, and the alternative sentencing program in the amount of $357,861; to fund increased time required in the laboratory, a handicap project in the amount of $5,000; to fund the collective bargaining agreement of the LPNs at the County Hospital in the amount of $4,500.  [May 9, 1993]

95 – 3    In accordance with Article 2 — Legislative Branch:  Section 2-8, (d)(v), of the Barnstable County Home Rule Charter, to establish the rate for landfill monitor well analysis.  [March 22, 1995]
