Where can I get Tax Assessment/Property Tax information?
Each town in Barnstable County has its’ own tax assessor/tax collector, sets their own assessment rates for all real property within their town, and collects the assessed taxes. When assessing taxes, the properties will be identified by the physical address, which lists the village where the property is located (i.e. Hyannis is a village in the Town of Barnstable; Pocasset is a village in the Town of Bourne). Where can I get Beach Stickers, including off-road vehicle permits?
Please contact the town hall in whichever town the beach/recreation area is located. For a list of each town website go here , then look for the Recreation Department.
If you are interested in off-road permits for Sandy Neck, you should visit either the town of Sandwich or Town of Barnstable website, as Sandy Neck encompasses both towns. Which town office you require is determined by the town in which you reside.
